was born in Rochester, New York, where he grew up until attending the State University of New York at Buffalo for his Bachelors in Political Science, Masters in Social Work, and Juris Doctor. He has returned to his alma mater to teach courses at the Law School. Mr. Berger and his wife Joanne have lived and raised their three children in Buffalo, NY.
Mr. Berger founded the local chapter of the American Immigration Association and subsequently served as the first President. He serves on multiple boards and organizations, some of which are the International Institute, Jewish Family Services (JFS), Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE), Jewish Community Center (JCC), Temple Shir Shalom, Tonawanda Industrial Economic Corporation (TIEC), and the Wolk foundation.
Mr. Berger has been in independent practice since 1980. Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Berger worked in general practice for almost 10 years. Mr. Berger and his firm have received many recognitions as a Top Attorney in North America, New York Area’s Best Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, Buffalo Business first Who’s Who in Law. He is a member of the National Register’s Who’s Who in Professionals. Mr. Berger has focused his legal practice on Immigration and Nationality Law for over 40 years.

Mr. Sobieski graduated in 2010 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He was admitted to the practice of law in New York State in 2011. He has practiced with the firm in the area of Immigration Law for approximately a decade. Mr. Sobieski practices all aspects of Immigration Law, including both Family-based and Employment-based visa applications, as well as handling the bulk of the firm’s removal matters in the Federal Immigration Court.
In addition to being a member in good standing of the New York State Bar Association, and the Erie County Bar Association, Mr. Sobieski is also an active member of the Young Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)
Mr. Sobieski has also been repeatedly named to Who’s Who Top Attorneys of North America, and as a Lawyer of Distinction, for the last few years. He also spoke as a featured presenter at the Upstate NY AILA Chapter's 2021 Fall Conference. He served regularly as a Volunteer / Pro Bono Attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Project, on behalf of tenants appearing in front of Buffalo City Court, for eviction matters, since June of 2016.
Additionally, Mr. Sobieski has given various presentations in the field of Immigration & Nationality Law at Buffalo State University, in Buffalo, New York, and has previously served as a Volunteer Evaluator for the first round of the February 2011 National Trial Competition, at Buffalo City Court, in Buffalo, New York. He was born and raised in Buffalo, and has lived in the area nearly all his life, and is proud to call it home.

Ms. Sparacino is also licensed to practice in Federal court in the Western District of New York. Ms. Sparacino was named a 2024 Rising Star in the area of Immigration Law by Thomson Reuters.
Ms. Sparacino focuses her practice on U.S. Immigration law. Ms. Sparacino specializes in handling employment-based nonimmigrant petitions for foreign nationals, including TNs for citizens of Canada and Mexico, Es, Ls, H-1Bs, R-1s, and O/Ps, as well as employment-based green cards for foreign nationals applying with EB-1, EB-2 National Interest Waivers, and EB-2/EB-3 (PERM) petitions.
In addition to handling employment-based matters, Ms. Sparacino works on family-based immigration matters, including helping U.S. citizens and U.S. green cards bring their family members to the U.S. and helping foreign nationals obtain U.S. citizenship.
Ms. Sparacino is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and a Board Member of the Woman's Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) Western New York chapter.
